Sujala Watershed
Major Project handled is Sujala with an outlay of 4.10 crore during 2007 and 2008 (2 years). This is a World Bank Assisted Project of Government of Karnataka. IDF provided its service as a Specialist NGO for promotion of Income Generation Activities (IGA) and Micro Enterprise (ME) development in fourteen sub watersheds covering Kolar, Chikkaballapur, Tumkur, Chitradurga, Dharwad and Haveri districts.

Under the project, IDF imparted Entrepreneurship Awareness Training (EAP) to 9670 SHG members (all women) belonging to vulnerable sections of the society. Select members of these SHGs were provided Skill-based Entrepreneurship Development Training Programmes (SEDP) to the EAP trained candidates. These services covered 1501 (896 women; 605 men) candidates who were provided SEDP trainings in the vocations of their choice.
