GREEN Foundation works in villages of newly carved out Ramanagar district (erstwhile Bangalore Rural) promoting conservation of plant genetic resources (biodiversity conservation) and sustainable agriculture/organic farming among small and marginal farming communities. Seed conservation through community participation is the approach adopted by the organization. IDF made a field assessment of the community participation in biodiversity conservation and sustainable agriculture adoption.
